WE ARE HIRING
EXPERIENCED UPHOLSTERER
We are looking for an experienced upholsterer to join our team, working on both our own Sedilia Collection designs and bespoke commissions. You will be part of a small, highly skilled production team creating furniture using both modern and traditional upholstery techniques, working with high-quality fabrics, leather and natural fillings.
The position is based at our spacious, light-filled workshop close to Clapham Common in South London.
THE ROLE
• Upholster a wide variety of pieces including Sedilia Collection models and bespoke commissions
• Work with both modern and traditional upholstery methods
• Handle a broad range of fabrics including leather
• Maintain a high standard of finish while working within production schedules
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across the workshop and design team
• Occasionally assist with installation work and site visits, including some international travel
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• At least three years’ professional upholstery experience in a high-quality workshop environment
• Confidence reading and interpreting production drawings
• Works with care and precision, taking pride in the standard of their work
• Good practical problem-solving skills
• Works well as part of a small, collaborative team
• Communicates clearly with colleagues and clients when required

Job Type: Full-time Monday-Friday
Salary: £40,000-£45,000 depending on experience
